Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of CaesarHire and related services (the "Services"), provided by Friars Technologies Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales whose registered address is Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. Your account is personal to you: it is for your own job search, and you may not share it or use it on behalf of somebody else without our agreement.

3. What the Services do, and what stays yours

CaesarHire searches the job market against a plan you approve, prepares CVs, cover letters and interview material from facts you have confirmed, tracks your applications, and helps you practise interviews.

You send every application yourself. We do not submit applications, contact employers or recruiters on your behalf, or reply to them for you. Anything you send goes in your name and remains your responsibility, including checking that it is accurate before it goes.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you tell us about your experience, your qualifications and your right to work. Confirming a fact in the product is you telling us it is true.

4. No guarantee of a job

We do not promise interviews, offers or employment, and we are not an employment agency or employment business. Hiring decisions are made by employers, using criteria we do not control. Job listings come from sources including job boards, applicant tracking systems and company career pages, and we do not warrant that any listing is current, genuine or accurately described.

5. AI-generated material

Documents, feedback, scores and suggestions are generated with the help of AI and can contain mistakes. They are drafts for you to review, not professional, legal or career advice. Read anything before you send it, and tell us if something is wrong so we can fix it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Services to misrepresent your experience, qualifications or right to work;
• upload material you do not have the right to use, or that belongs to somebody else;
• use the Services to harass anyone, or to send unlawful or abusive messages;
• scrape, resell or redistribute the job data, documents or other output we provide;
• attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Services.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, or where we need to in order to protect other people or the Services.

7. Your content and our licence

You keep ownership of your CV, your answers and everything else you give us. The documents your agent writes for you are yours to use however you like. We do not sell your material, and we do not share your profile with employers.

So that we can run CaesarHire and keep making it better, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, analyse and create derived material from what you give us and what you do in the Services. That licence expressly covers using it to test, develop, improve and train the systems behind CaesarHire, including our AI and machine-learning models, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are not owed payment or a share of any benefit we get from that, and this licence continues for material we have already used in training even after you close your account.

If you would rather your information was not used to improve and train our systems, tell us and we will stop using it that way. Everything else about the Services works exactly the same.

8. Availability, beta and changes

CaesarHire is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and is currently in beta: features may change, break or be withdrawn, and usage limits (such as the number of video practice interviews included) may be adjusted. We use reasonable efforts to keep the Services running but do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Price

CaesarHire is free to use during beta and we do not collect payment details. If we introduce paid plans in future, we will tell you before anything you use starts to cost money, and you will be free to stop using the Services instead.

10. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own all rights in the Services themselves, including the software, design, branding and documentation. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services under these Terms.

11. Ending your account

You can stop using CaesarHire at any time, clear your profile from within the product, or ask us to delete your account. We may end or suspend access where you breach these Terms, or on reasonable notice if we discontinue the Services.

12. Disclaimer and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory.

• We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
• Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of a job, an interview, an opportunity, earnings, data or goodwill.
• Subject to that, our total liability to you for all claims connected with the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred pounds sterling (GBP 100).

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or EU you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

14. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our not enforcing a right does not waive it. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms; you may not transfer yours without our consent. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us about the Services.
